On January 15, 2011 the skies above the Treasure Island beaches of Florida were dotted with kites of all shapes and sizes… and these weren’t just the typical diamond-shaped floaters. In fact, if I had brought my proud flying dragon boat kite (that I keep in my car waiting for the perfect wind), I probably would have been laughed at.
